welcome to day 2.
Yes that's the color. It's called "Linen White" from Glidden. I'm not really feeling it, well because... IT"S WHITE!!! I am in process of putting a faux finish over the top called "candlelight" by Ralph Lauren but it isn't really showing up so i'm not really feeling that either. She's going for a monochromatic color scheme ( all the same color just a variation of shades) and I'm beginning to feel that it's her sick way of torturing me. I have never painted a wall in my home white before. What's the point I say!
You can do a monochromatic color scheme that works but you have to have alot texture and some color variation. I have used candlelight before on an aqua color and it looked awesome. I will just bite the bullet and finish the candlelight on at least 1 wall ( I do not want to waste a good thing). Usually that first roll of color going on the wall sends me right to my happy place. UM not today I tell you.
I definately have plans to make the space sing but today it's just moaning. Lest I forget...$32.00 for the paint on sale for 16.00 per, and $10.00 for the candlelight (clearance at Jerry's) For some reason Jerry's and Home Depot discontinued the Ralph Lauren line. I'm not sure where to find the "candlelight" finish now, so that's another reason to not waste it. Total cost day 2 $42.00! Yes still in the happy Husband mode. At least someone is smiling.
