Baylee's bedroom makeover

Well I finally finished it.
It was a pretty basic fix but it was a design process. First I tried to spray paint a harlequinn pattern (diamonds). That didn't look great. Then I thought I would decopage patterned paper cut into diamonds but we weren't crazy about that either. I just applied the mouldings and spray painted it. Then let it go for a 2 days. Late last night....a brainstorm and off to Jerry's for a few decorative wood appliques. I drilled a hole through the square ones spray painted all of them, then antiqued them in silver. glues and pin nailed them into place WA-LA. I think it turned out pretty good and it looks a new piece of furniture for under $30.00 P.S. I fixed the top applique that was crooked if that was bugging you. I know it was bugging me.

  2. Thank you Barb. I'm trying to finish up her headboard and canopy this weekend to finish the room. She wants me to spray paint the lamp base solid cream so I will tackle that today.
